Bachelors degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field, is required.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

This will entail assisting in the following areas:Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and toolsDevelopment of test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new productsDevelopment of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systemsDesign, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturingWhat youll experience:Technologies that arent just top-notch, theyre often top-secretA team of bold thinkers committed to exploring whats nextOpportunities to gain new knowledge - as its discoveredWhat you bring to the table:A Bachelors degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field, or equivalent experienceClear understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theoriesClear understanding of object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languagesWhat sets you apart:Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success, meeting and exceeding personal and team commitmentsAbility to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexityCommitment to ongoing professional developmentJob Task:Performs engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment, and systems for commercial, government, military and/or scientific uses.Performs various tests and documents results.Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance as required.Identifies and documents clients functional requirements.Gathers and correlates engineering data.Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.Participates in special projects as required.Preferred experience:Experience with U.S. Navy ContractsExperience with C5ISR systemsExperience on DDG, CG's and LHA'sAble to read and interpret engineering drawingsAble to Install, Integrate, and Test various Navy systemsProficient with various types of test equipmentAble to generate detail reportsProficient with Microsoft products
