What You'll Do
As a Technical Solutions Architect you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the success of Cisco Field sales teams in selling the full suite of Data Center products. In this position, you will be working with data center technology specialists to help them position data center virtualization and systems architecture solutions effectively against opposing offerings. You will be passionate about presales engineering activities, demonstrating Cisco's data center products, solutions and architectures.

Our team works with our product engineers and marketing, our sales force, our partners, and our customers. We help provide field input and direction into engineering, and drive product knowledge out to the field. We help our sales force, partners, and customers stay up to date on the latest product improvements, as well as understand the value, and unique advantages that come with the most complete and advanced networking products in the industry.
Who You Are
You aren't just a tech geek; you have the personal skills to go along with it. Do you have experience selling Cisco specific products? Then that's even better. These types of products include Unified Computing System, Unified Fabric, ACI, Storage MDS, Virtualization, Hypervisors, Automation, Cloud, Converged Infrastructure, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, Multi-Cloud solutions.
Our minimum requirements for this role:
We Are Cisco
- 5+ years of technical presales experience.
- Working knowledge of Data Center environments
- Ability to travel in order to meet client demands required.
- Ensure success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
- Ability to motivate, train and conduct seminars to increase Data Center revenues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Must be a self-starter effective in working independently and in a team setting.
