What you'll Do
At Cisco, our strategy has empowered dozens of Healthcare and Enterprise customers to capture the many growth opportunities made possible by the Internet of Everything. Do you want to help with this change? You can have the ability to manage market transitions in Collaboration and Video, Enterprise Routing, Switching, Security, Wi-Fi, and Cloud. As Systems Architect, you will partner with our Account Executives in a pre-sale's technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions-setting up demonstrations and explaining features and benefits to customers-and designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.
* Direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts
* Keep up to date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services
* Provide technical and sales support for accounts in either Healthcare and/or Enterprise verticals
* Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects
* Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities

As part of the GES organization, you will work with account managers and their leadership to drive business outcomes for our customers. Who You Are
You are a Systems Architect (SA) with a strong network, collaboration, unified access, security and datacenter\virtualization background. You will partner with our Account Manager's in a pre-sale's technical role, showcasing network product solutions. You have industry knowledge and years of technology experience to aid in technical selling, explaining features and benefits to customers-and designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.
In this role you will gain access to the broad palette of Cisco technologies and applications in a variety of vertical markets. In additional to technological aptitude and the ability to learn quickly and know the latest, you have interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skills that evoke passion and confidence.
Required skills & abilities:
* Pre-Sales experience.
* Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
* CCNP, CCDP or similar vendor Certification Required.
* Strong understanding of Collaboration, Security, SDN, server and desktop virtualization is also highly desirable.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.
* Ability to work effectively and contribute as a team member.
* Strong problem-solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.
