The Storage Software Product Management team is looking for you.This position will be leading a new OpenShift focused Software Defined Storage product to market. As Product Manager, you will work cross-functionally within IBM and Red Hat teams to drive the product success; coordinate roadmap priorities across IBM stakeholder Brand teams; and play a key role in managing third-party relationships. The ideal candidate for this role will have considerable technical and market understanding of OpenShift and Container workloads.The right candidate particularly thrives in fast paced, agile environments and has excellent spoken and written communication skills. Key responsibilities will require an ability to assess portfolio investment from a technical and business perspective, aligned with the potential revenue opportunity. Strong Product management background and customer-facing experience are needed to hit the ground running. The role is perfect for someone with a broad mix of technical knowledge and business acumen.Job Duties:+ Collaborates with peers and executives to define priorities in alignment with market dynamics and storage strategy+ Work with stakeholders and others in a multidisciplinary team to define requirements+ Lead Container SDS roadmap+ Analyze product priorities based on addressable market and customer demand+ Develop a strategy and differentiation for the product against competition+ Lead any required business and financial planning+ Lead roadmap and planning efforts with external 3rd party partner(s)+ Partner with cross-functional groups to develop and enhance offerings and go to market initiatives+ Lead Offering Management/Product Management cycle and processes+ Assist with annual planning process+ Travel as required up to 25%You will be leading the Product Management activities in developing and delivering a new OpenShift focused Software Defined Storage solution. This role will be responsible for the product roadmap as well as leading key initiatives that focus on storage business growth.
