Would you like to work REMOTELY for a technology company in San Francisco with an awesome mission (think open source, social good) and a really interesting suite of products including a VR browser and experimental blockchain? We have an immediate need for a UX/UI Designer who has a great visual aesthetic as well as a mind for UX strategy. The contract will be running for 6 months 30h/week. This client?s Open Innovation team is driving the ways in which the organization works effectively beyond its own boundaries. The team is advancing ?open by design? strategy. They connect product and technology initiatives with external collaborators and contributors, delivering services and building capacity across the brand as a centre of excellence for open methods. We are looking for a talented Sr level UI designer to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with developers, UX designers and researchers. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions, own and create style directions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive experience. What you will be doing: ? Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods. ? Be responsible for delivering outstanding visual design in all product interfaces that will create a strong, positive and emotional connection with our audience. ? Build fast, prototypes for testing in InVision and ? During implementation phase respond to day-to-day questions from product managers and developers.
Preferred Qualifications ? 5 or more years of experience and proven track record. ? Strong portfolio to be presented with application. ? Hands-on experience creating polished, beautiful UI design ? Hands-on experience owning and keeping to a set style guide. ? Hands-on experience with web and mobile UI design ? Expert in Sketch, InVision, Zeplin. ? Understanding of Github, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript. ? Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
