Role Summary: Essential Responsibilities:

He/she will drive critical architecture decisions by working with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure sustainable growth of the business as well as meeting the time and resource requirement of solution/pilot/product delivery.

  • Directly work with cross functional teams and customers around the globe to translate business requirements to architecture requirements and maintain the balance of adaptability to specific operational consideration and scalability to align with future product roadmap
  • Constantly perform the research and evaluation of DLT/Blockchain technology developments and trends, understand industry and market trends, assist in commercial operations support activities regarding DLT/Blockchain technology
  • Promote the understanding of new technology as DLT/Blockchain within the organization, coach and mentor product development team and be a change agent both internally and externally on driving the understanding of emerging technologies
  • Assist In collaboration with industry players in the DLT/Blockchain ecosystem through consortia, workgroups and standard bodies work
  • Serve as one of the SMEs in the organization on blockchain technology advancement research, evaluation, ongoing platform evaluation as well as partnership strategy formation/pivot.
  • Contribute to commercial proposals and quotations for customer opportunities
  • Lead and coordinate the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction across the product portfolio or product line.
  • Act as a key contributor to partnership strategy development and execution, drive buy vs. build decisions from a technical perspective as well as business strategy aspects.
  • Analyze design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
  • Review and/or analyze and develop architectural requirements at domain level within product portfolio or team.
  • Participate in the EA domain governance model.
  • Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different use cases. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • A minimum of 12 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product OR Master's degree with 8 years of experience OR PhD with 5 years of experience.
  • GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed Eligibility Requirements:

  • Hands on experience of product architecture or development using DLT/Blockchain technologies
  • Basic knowledge and experience of power industry controls and operations software, good technical understanding of overall electric grid design and operations. Solid knowledge in power wholesale and retail markets is a great plus
  • Solid experience in formulating product/solution architect using Ethereum, Hyperledger platform or other enterprise blockchain Implementations.
  • Great understanding in designing customized consensus mechanisms, BFT protocols, Interoperability of blockchain based applicationsblockchain based applications
  • Possess the ability to gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level, aligning architectural requirements with software development strategy.
  • Able to own review of exceptions and making recommendations to architectural standards at a domain level.
  • Excellent capability in articulating clear operational and transformational business value from abstract and complex technical details and concepts
  • Able to navigate through uncertainties, capable of initiating, implementing and leading effective change management in matrix organizational structures
