If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM Cloud is seeking a Senior Project Manager to work with our Network Infrastructure Service team on various development projects spanning automation, monitoring and service delivery. The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for the management of large and complex projects and project teams made up of various cross-functional teams as well as vendor and other internal & external resources to deliver on solutions and services Projects. Interacts closely with the multiple Infrastructure teams and vendors to define the project parameters and to develop detailed project documentation to outline the project Scope, Business Requirements, Project Plans, and Project Schedule.FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS8+ years of experience in the following skill sets:+ Establish program structure and governance to address complex business problems and opportunities in a dynamic environment+ Understand and map a complex stakeholder network to inform communications, risk management, and work stream organization+ Work with program teams to create metrics to measure the value the programs and projects created, demonstrating the attainment of strategic goals+ Lead planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for all aspects of the program, including financials+ Facilitate the definition of program objectives and deliver a detailed plan from inception to operational hand-off+ Promote transparency and manage program change using repeatable methodologies and clear communication with program stakeholders from all levels of the company from individual contributors to executives+ Perform retrospectives and lessons learned at various intervals during and at the conclusion of projects; identify people, process, and technology improvements to be made to elevate the performance of future project teams+ Create project commitment plans and present to executive leadership for approval. Scoping Project effort, headcount, costs, risks, and risk management as well as risk mitigation.+ Work with the project team (remote and cross time zones) to identify the level of effort required for tasks or projects. Work with cross-functional team to ensure they are engaged and prepared to implement new project initiatives including associated process changes.+ Proven leadership, interpersonal & problem-solving skills+ Ability to make important decisions under pressure & delegate effectivelyRequired Technical and Professional Expertise+ Bachelors or master's degree (required)+ Understanding of network concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, LDAP, DHCP, and Routing/Switching, Custom Routes (Egress, Ingress, BYOIP), Anti-Spoofing (IP-Spoofing)+ Understanding of security & compliance requirements from banking / financial industries and exposure to managing industry security certifications or audits.+ Experience with IT Operations for online services, on call management and automated monitoring and incident management+ Experience with Cloud design, development, and operations+ PMI-PMP certification preferred or equivalent formal training/experience.+ CCNA, JCNIA or Network + network certificationPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ High proficiency with project management tools - Excel, Project Libre, Jira, MS-project+ Proficient in the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, knowledge of Agile, Waterfall & DevOps methodologies+ Software including Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Office 365, Slack or other collaboration tools.About Business UnitDigitization is accelerating the ongoing evolution of business, and clouds - public, private, and hybrid - enable companies to extend their existing infrastructure and integrate across systems.
