Job Description:Fidelity Digital Assets, a Fidelity Investments Company, is developing a full-service enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading and servicing digital assets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.As a Senior Software Engineer you will be an integral part of the Wallet team. You'll get the opportunity to develop your skills, collaborate across Fidelity teams and continue to learn in a lively, iterative, and constantly evolving environment.You will work closely with technical leads, operations and UX design teams, to build secure, scalable, resilient cloud-based services and intuitive and functional user interfaces by utilizing modern software development practices. As a senior technical member of your team, you will guide junior engineers and help develop their technical skills.If you are excited to learn about cryptocurrencies in a fun and collaborative environment, then we would love to hear from you.The Expertise and Skills You BringProven foundation in software engineering - 4 years' experience +Strong experience with Angular, RxJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSSkilled in the use of testing frameworks such as Jest, Karma, Jasmine, CypressExperience with developing REST APIsProficient in core JavaProficient in databases and SQLExperience developing microservices in automated CI/CD environments a plusExperience with cloud platforms and containerization a plusYou have a strong background in developing web applications and REST APIs.Passionate and committed to learning new tools and develop with the latest technologies and frameworks.Work well in a small agile team having a strong focus on user requirements.Have proven analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks at any given timeAdopt and can give to team engineering practices such as code and design reviews, the development environment, and build and deployment pipelinesStrong social skills and can communicate optimally with fellow associatesBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field requiredThe TeamThe Wallet Team is responsible for building modern user interfaces for managing digital assets, backend services and APIs that support digital assets transactions on networks such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.Fidelity Digital Assets adopts an entrepreneurial culture and startup mentality while serving as one of the most innovative business units within Fidelity Investments.
