What You'll Do
The Cisco Network Assurance Engine team is looking for a Senior Technical Leader to join its Eco System Assurance team, to drive the end to end software for Layer 1, Layer 2, Fabric, Virtual Machines, Kubernetes, Load Balancers and Firewall Assurance.
Who You'll Work With
Cisco Network Assurance Engine has the goal of building an Intent Assurance Platform using various modeling and formal verification techniques. The team comprises of members from academia, industry researchers, several PhDs, as well as key engineers from several Big Data companies. The team consists of core software, UI, UX, Big Data, Full stack, Formal, Mathematical modeling experts and engineers, as well as policy, security and other networking domain experts. We are primarily located in San Jose.
Who You Are
Hands on Development Experience of C, C++, Python and Java. Aggregate experience 5+ years with production code.
You have knowledge of ACI Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3, Virtual Machine manager, Load Balancer, Service Chaining configurations and debugging.
Hands on experience in delivering Network Protocols, forwarding, switch software, data plane software, control plane software and network management software features.
Working experience in operating system, system software and infrastructure software.
Experience in Software Design and algorithms with multiple delivery of design specification documents and extensive review process
Work in Team environment with portions of software development coordinated across multiple members.
Experience in code review process with Generally accepted C, C++, Python and Java principles and practices.
Shown history of ability to learn and deliver quickly new (to candidate) software areas and technologies.
Confirmed ability to debug and fix issues/bugs and code refactoring.
You have the ability to set long-term vision for the platform and translate that into tactical steps for execution, guiding other team members as needed
