Sr. Product Analyst - Developer T-SQL / Atlanta, GA / $9500

Position
The Senior Product Analyst leverages business and IT expertise and market research to describe functional requirements and perform business analysis. The Senior Product Analyst is responsible for highlighting gaps and opportunities that support company-building and product roadmap activities from early-stage discovery through entry to market.

  • Defining functional requirements built off of market research
  • Gap analysis and help define roadmap to drive to market
  • Must have experience with User Stories and business requirements
  • Experience within Product Development, supporting QA testing efforts
  • Customer Facing with stakeholders
  • Translating requirements into specifications
  • Must have Product Management and analysis background
  • Come from healthcare or fintech background
  • Experience with Jira or similar tool
Responsibilities:
  • Describes functional requirements based on market research
  • Gathers requirements, including user stories and business requirements
  • Applies market knowledge and analysis to better understand user requirements
  • Coordinates with the business, product, development and architecture teams to capture and document requirements
  • Translates requirements into specifications
  • Supports testing of products with QA and Development to resolve issues
  • Develops KPIs to quantify the adoption, use, success, and impact of products
  • Interfaces with stakeholders to ensure product is working as designed
  • Participates in all phases of the product roadmap including early stage discovery through completion
  • Participates in planning and review meetings
  • Works on large-sized and complex projects with autonomy
  • Works with users to refine requirements and validate product vision
  • Assists in the onboarding of new clients
  • Supports the Sales and Business Development needs of the company
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare technology, with business process knowledge of insurance, provider operations, or healthcare finance; experience with healthcare EDI, FHIR, HL7 a plus; Specific experience with HIPAA 837, 835, 270/271, 834 preferred
  • Experience with payments and card-processing a plus
  • BA/BS in Business, Economics or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience preferred
  • Product management and business analysis experience required
  • Ability to own and drive own work streams, with minimal supervision
  • Experience with or ability to quickly develop working understanding of machine-learning and/or blockchain technologies a plus
  • Understanding of banking and/or the payment industry helpful
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar tools a plus
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical understanding
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with and manage internal and external stakeholders, including business operations and executives as needed
  • Analytical and financial modeling experience
  • Excellent people-skills for interactions with management, staff, vendors and clients Positive can-do attitude.
