Within RCB, The Institute for Insight teaches students to find solutions to big data challenges facing real companies and organizations. The mission of the Institute for Insight is to serve as a portal into big data analytics for our broad community of students, researchers, entrepreneurs, institutions and industry partners, helping each to create and leverage insight needed to build, innovate and transform their work. Institute faculty teaches and participate in research projects in the Insight Lab. More information about the Institute is available at and about the MS in Analytics program at . The Institute for Insight is seeking to hire a very talented, skilled and highly motivated Research Scientist to support the work of the Institute by contributing to its scientific and research mission. This is a part-time position and serves as the first point of contact for the Lab. The majority of the work will be in the evening with variable hours. The scope of responsibilities will include the following duties, but is not limited to,

  • Expertise in deep learning neural networks

  • Expertise in blockchain/FinTech

  • Expertise in text mining/natural language processing

  • Expertise in acquiring and analyzing social media data

  • Expertise in supply chain management/analytics

  • Providing research support for faculty conducting research
