The professional is expected to work with end user services and cross-functional teams to provide the requested security services, troubleshoot and resolve issues. The cybersecurity professional is expected to operate and perform at the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity and work among a team of skilled analysts to address simple to moderately complex problems across the various security functions.The focus of this role is working within the Collins Aerospace DT Cybersecurity department reporting to the Sr Manager, Cybersecurity and COE. This individual can work at any Collins location or remote.Primary Responsibilities:Provides tier two/three and security support services for the enterprise. This includes timely resolution of trouble tickets. Participates in the on-call rotation.Implement system security measures in accordance with established procedures to ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiationCompletes activities focused on ensuring the safety and preventing the destruction of and unauthorized access to organization information systems.Assess adequate access controls based on principles of least privilege and need-to-knowConfers with users to discuss issues such as computer data access needs, security violations, and programming changes.Communicating security related issues and risks to team members and leadership.Will serve as a security lead for simple development and deployment projects.Assists with supporting simple to moderately complex operational tasks that are assigned as part of a project implementation. May serve as a project lead for small to medium projects of moderate complexity.Properly document all systems security implementation plans, operations, and maintenance activities and update as necessaryAssist with the organization and coordination of the activities of team members to complete security team deliverables for projects.Considered a Subject Matter Expert in at least one area and considered a domain generalist in multiple areas, including a moderate understanding of information security knowledge in the assigned areas.Individual job duties will vary.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree and five years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and three years of prior relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.1 -2 years of computer and network security experienceExperience with fundamental security and network concepts (operating systems, IPS/IDS, TCP/IP, ports, etc.)Must be a U.S. citizenMust be willing and able to travel 5% of the timeMust have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirementsPreferred Qualifications:Security certifications (e.g. Security+, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, CEH, etc.)Experience with Microsoft and Unix-based operating systemsExperience in Active Directory and Account administrationExperience with Enterprise Firewall rules and rule creation.Experience with Enterprise ePolicy OrchestratorExperience with ITIL foundation service lifecycle managmentExperience in general security to effectively collaborate with team members and leadership.
