A Day in the Life

Are you looking for work that will make a difference in State Farm's future? If so, then come be part of the RED Labs team establishing State Farm as an industry leader in adoption of the Blockchain technology!

As a member of this team, you will have a part in launching a one-of-a-kind cloud based Blockchain subrogation product while also contributing towards the ideation, prototyping, and development of other priority Blockchain use cases.

We Are Looking for Candidates with the following skills and experiences:

Full stack development

AWS deployment experience

Ability to cultivate effective working
relationships

Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment

Ability to foster innovation, encourage diversity of thought, and incorporate new ideas

Strong written and verbal communications skills, both in one on one and large group settings

An innate level of curiosity and a desire to explore emerging technologies

Comfortable in knowing enough for now, elaborating with a just in time approach and a willingness to adjust/pivot when appropriate

Hands-on experience with an enterprise Blockchain platform (ex: Quorum, Fabric, Corda) is a plus but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and implement systems that incorporate architectural best practices in development, security, and CI/CD methodologies

Work closely with agile team members to shape and deliver product features

Navigate the organization and collaborate across teams to identify solutions

Take accountability for individual and team responsibilities to support enterprise and department goals

Constructively challenge the status quo and offers useful, meaningful and solution-oriented input
Pursue self-development to enhance job effectiveness
