We seek individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to be a part of the company success.Responsibilities:Lead development of new data center sitesLead due diligence of potential sites and manage cross functional team of internal and external subject matter expertsAssist in the creation of overarching site development strategy, lead implementation of site development strategy alongside Director of Energy and Director of EPCRepresent Compute North at local stakeholder meetings, present project information in public forum settingsNegotiate agreements with project landowners to secure land and clear encumbrancesDevelop and maintain relationships with key development partners; provide oversight of development partners and ensure timely completion of contractual termsDevelop and maintain relationships with key third party development consultants, including land acquisition, environmental, interconnection, and development engineering firmsPerform market research to target specific power markets and to understand regulatory approval timelines, risks, and mitigation strategiesAccountability for and maintenance of development project schedules and budgetsManage site development pipeline and forecasting; maintain site development CRM; prepare summaries and reports for sales support and IREstablish and implement site development tools, best practices, and standardized processesQualifications:5+ years of project or land development experienceBachelor's degree preferredStrong relationship building, project management, and organizational skills; must be able to work effectively in urban and rural settings across the USTravel 50%+; international travel possible
