What You'll Do

In this role you will lead the Delivery team and work with Sales executives to lead and grow the services business in Global enterprise accounts (CGEM). Influences the customer in the assessment, planning and management of related projects. You will coordinate a team comprised of NCE's, HTOM's, PM's and SIA's to provide delivery with operational excellence to our key customers. You are the single point of ownership and accountability for all Cisco service delivery related activities. You will Manage Portfolios, and big projects from start to completion including the resolution of raised project issues. Responsible for the Project/Portfolio Budget, Margins and completion within given timelines.

Other responsibilities include:

  • You will lead customer level profitability - identify new revenue opportunities, drive revenue recognition, manage efficiencies, drive productivity, lead projects successfully while meeting revenue and cost budgets
  • You will improve customer loyalty and satisfaction with key customer partners by driving value in service delivery activities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with critical customers' most senior leaders and decision makers Develop important Cisco relationship within the Advanced Services organization and with the ADN, Service Sales, and Product Sales organizations
  • You will also build, develop, and lead direct and matrix teams for customer execution. Embrace Cisco's People Deal by building opportunities and growth for your team.
  • Works with the Program Management Community to further develop the PM/PGM role, processes and operations.

  • You have direct experience leading teams that deliver complex business and technical capabilities
  • Your experience managing diverse teams from a variety of disciplines, such as engineering, project management, requirements development, technical writing, and communications is top notch.
  • Your ability to influence and communicate effectively to senior-level leadership as well as functional management will shine. You possess overall excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You are a person that thrives in constant change, so you will be adaptable to changing environments and priorities
  • Ideally, experience in IT operations, support functions, and/or network management
  • The ability to demonstrate a range of leadership styles from collaboration and partnership to command & control based on business conditions and day-to-day demands of the role
  • Should be knowledgeable regarding Cisco Services and how to package Cisco Services into offerings that match with customer's goals and objectives.
  • Be a true customer advocate. The Service Delivery Leader will get involved as necessary to make sure customer critical issues are managed appropriately and with the proper level of communication.
  • Ability to team with Sales leadership and to drive an account strategy from a delivery perspective

Our minimum requirements are the following:

  • Bachelor of Engineering /Technology, Master degree is a plus
  • Financial and Business Insight - knowledge, skills and understanding, of business process, tools and concepts required to make sound decisions. (e.g. investment return on investment)
  • Education and certifications (CCIE / PMP) in technical and / or business disciplines
  • 10+ years relevant industry related experience and 5+ years-prior project management experience.
  • IT Consulting experience (Professional Services) or Program Management experience
