Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other related engineering discipline, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.3-7 years related experience is preferred. Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

The opportunity we can offer is one-of-a-kind.We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar space and everything in between.As a Advanced Systems Engineer supporting Landsat Operations, your efforts will help the team prepare the Landsat Multi-mission Operations Center (LMOC) and flight operations products for the transition of Landsat 8 into the LMOC. These efforts cover the full systems engineering life-cycle starting with ground system design development, transition readiness testing, shadow operations, and final operations transition. When supporting ground system design and development, some of the activities you may support include requirements definition and analysis, requirements management, interface development, ground subsystem integration, test procedure development and execution, requirement verification, and build release support. When supporting mission readiness some of the activities you may support include flight procedure design, development, and testing, mission readiness testing with the flight observatory, mission simulations, simulator setup and operations, test procedure development, test execution against simulators and flight hardware.
