Role: Senior Full Stack Java Developer/Hands-On Lead (Starting Remote)

Dropp is an innovative startup in the payments industry. The Dropp platform enables micropayments that can vary in size from a few dollars to a few cents. This will revolutionize the payments industry and enable new business models. Job Summary/Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer/Hands-On Lead with hands-on programming skills who leads and contributes in a team that is building a digital payment platform exclusively for the IoT and cloud data market. The product is currently is now in released mode. The initial version of the platform was already launched in December 2020. The platform utilizes regulated banking technologies and cutting edge block-chain concepts. The candidate needs to have leadership qualities, creative thinking, and collaboratively working with the team is a must.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Solid technical expertise with Java Full Stack Programming (10+ years of industry experience).
• Experience with Java Spring Boot framework (must).
• Strong experience with JQuery and React frameworks (must).
• Experience developing applications in AWS cloud environment.
• Experience with Cryptography - knowledge of Public and Private Key and digital Signature.
• Required experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).
• Experience with Google GRPC, and Git also required.
• Experience with developing highly scalable real time processing systems highly preferred.

Other Skills:

• Experience working a start-up company (a Big plus)
• Experience with payment platforms in fin-tech (a Big plus)
• Knowledge of Blockchain technologies (a Big Plus).
• A self-starter and go -getter
• A "Can-do" attitude with ability to drive things
• The candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Must possess very good communication skills and very good analytical skills.

Other Job Specifications:

• Employment Type: Permanent hiring, and Contract to Hire (CTH).
• Job Location: Newark, NJ. Local candidates preferred (candidates in NJ/NY or nearby areas). Position will start out as remote until COVID-19 restrictions ease up. Then, will be required to work onsite as needed.
• Annual Salary: Permanent Employment $150 - $170K depending on experience level, plus Benefits and generous Stock Options. Open to contracting on professional day basis.
• Projected Start Date: April 2021
