Job Description Build and maintain software and automation tools to increase software deployment frequency and reduce the lead time for changes.Take primary ownership for build, deploy, and monitoring automation of the team's apps.Help the Engineering Teams take increasing ownership of build, deploy, and monitoring automation of their apps through active communication and informal training.Work as part of the Engineering Teams to contribute to the design of the team's apps.Drive continual improvement in our build, deploy, and monitoring tools and services by working collaboratively with the CI/CD Pipeline team.Assist the team in coordinating with Systems Engineering and SRE teams on physical infrastructure requirements and dependencies.Job RequirementsDemonstrated success in delivering high quality technology products/services in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize well, communicate clearly and understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team.History showing an ability to integrate multiple disparate systems via custom scripting and automation tools.5+ years programming and scripting (Python, Java, Bash, Golang, ...)5+ years Linux administration in a large-scale SaaS environment2+ years maintaining production systems on major cloud IaaS (Google, AWS, Azure)2+ years containerization in large-scale SaaS environment (eg. Docker, Kubernetes)2+ years running and optimizing RDBs and NoSQL2+ years operating and improving pipeline tools (eg. Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo)2+ years using configuration management (eg.
