The Chief Operating Office Risk team is looking for top talent to help bring them into the future. The team is enabling a self-service capability platform which will transform the way their associates will focus their responsibilities in support of risk control activities. Identified candidates will be able to act as subject matter experts in key technology areas and recommend strategies that will help continue to reduce risk across the portfolio.

The role will be focused on applying subject matter expertise to lead and promote a culture of risk identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks. The role will be responsible to proactively analyze risk trends by identifying gaps or relevant industry trends, collaborating with technology teams to develop risk reducing strategies. Additionally, the role will be a point of contact with control partners on new risk activities overseeing technology implementation strategies proposed and outlining education requirements necessary to execute, working with leadership to validate assumptions and approach. The role will require candidate to work across front line units to discuss emerging risks in the portfolio and mitigate strategies relevant to reduce likelihood of occurrence. They will drive and report progress on execution of key mitigating strategies across the CSWT portfolio to leadership on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

+ Define and lead risk mitigating strategies to address key technology areas to ensure conformance with laws, rules and regulations.

+ Partner with multiple technology organizations, divisional leads within Global Technology & Operations and Line Of Business, and control partners (Ops Risk and Compliance).

+ Identifies recommendations to leadership to maximize efficient identification, assessment and remediation of risk.

+ Maintains strong communication with leadership and technology teams to drive risk mitigating strategies.

**Required Skills:**

+ 10+ years of relevant work experience with some applied within financial services, risk or technology

+ Experienced Domain experience in one or more of the following areas:

+ Information Security,

+ Digital / mobile / online experience

+ Robotics / machine learning

+ 3rd party administration

+ Wealth Management

+ Data Management

+ Experience in complex and dynamic environments

+ Ability to connect dots and understand impacts of the work that is done and how it can tie into other areas within the team and across GT&O

+ Demonstrated increasing levels of accountability and ownership

+ Demonstrated ability to operate as a change agent and driving change across diverse stakeholders groups

+ Strong collaboration and partnering skills with ability to positively influence and motivate teams

+ Comfortable with ambiguous situations capable of analyzing, simplifying and collaborating to solve complex problems

+ Excellent communication skills (presentation and influencer) and ability to synthesize information in order to drive team to results

+ Strategic thinkers, self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight

_Enterprise Role Overview:_

Assist in the execution of internal control discipline and operational excellence within a LOB or ECF. Execute LOB/ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide Standards. Support the implementation of QA/QC processes within the LOB/ECF through ongoing monitoring and testing of controls. Identify issues and/or control improvements for remediation, whilst assisting in building out actions plans and milestones. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Develop and direct staff. Incumbents typically have over 8+ years of risk management and LOB/ECF experience.
