Your Role and Responsibilities
In the Security Research department at the T.J. Watson Research Center, we conduct basic and applied research in all aspects of Security, Privacy and Cryptography. We are building new and innovative technologies in Secure Multiparty Computation, Data Security and Privacy, Software Security, Confidential Computing, Adversarial Machine Learning, and more.
We are looking to grow our team of research scientists and engineers. We value research skills, innovation, strong systems intuition, systems building experience and a strong desire to implement one's own ideas.
You will advance fundamental science and publish in top-tier journals and conferences. You will also help conceive and build the next generation of innovative solutions to address real-world security challenges.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* An outstanding publication record at top-tier Security, Cryptography, Privacy conferences is essential
* Demonstrated system building skills in popular programming languages (Python, C/C++, Go, etc.) on cloud platforms
* The proven ability to tackle complex scientific and technical challenges both independently or within a team.
