Job Title: Scrum Master- Contractor Location: CityScape What you'll do: This position will support the WAB Blockchain Program, reporting into IT. Key element of the growth strategy is to develop new digital crypto payment products and grow the bank's portfolio. To enable the growth several Technology areas with Technology, Digital and other lines of businesses have to come together to deliver a complete E2E solution. This role will be well suited for an individual with proven success in strong technology delivery experience that has been gained on top of past hands-on technology solutions crafting and delivery. This is not a pure oversight function. This role will partner with LOB partners and translate the business needs to various technology groups within WAB and Third-Party Solutions providers and orchestrate activities to have End-to-End solutions in place and deliver it. What we are looking for: This position will be responsible for: * Managing and evolving Scaled Agile portfolios of the highest complexity. * Facilitates the scrum process on scrum teams with significant cross-functional impacts involving project, non-project, or maintenance work. * Guides the scrum team(s) and organization to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint. * Uses empirical data to help the team(s) assess their Scrum Maturity, optimize scrum team velocity to organizational KPIs, and identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance. * Proactively addresses systemic impediments to team agility and guides the team(s) on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from becoming blockers. * Coaches scrum team(s) to deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met. * Partners with discipline managers to convey their concerns to scrum teams about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards. * Partners with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include stories from multiple projects. * Completion of some work may depend on non-agile work teams. Facilitates Scrum of Scrums. * May train other Scrum Masters and serve as a mentor to less experienced team members. * Drives Scrum adoption across all levels in the organization. * Facilitates and is accountable for owning the Scrum and/or Scaled Agile ceremonies for the scrum team(s). * Partners with Product Owners, Program or Project Managers to communicate delivery of work product from the scrum team(s) and escalates key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness. * Identifies skills & competencies of scrum team members & makes adjustments accordingly to promote development and highly effective teams. Required Qualifications * 6+ years of experience as a practicing Scrum Master Desired Qualifications * 10+ years business experience in a matrixed management environment (e.g. product development, project management, implementation) * Experience with Product Launches, and/or Portfolio Conversions, including data mapping, playbook creation, mock conversions. * Must be capable of making sound decisions in the absence of detailed instruction and maintain management policies, standards and guidelines designed to protect our most valuable IT assets. * Provide engineering support to other implementation teams regarding standards, FIS impacts, and info sharing and best practices. * Experience using the team collaboration software Confluence, Teams, SharePoint * Agile Scrum (CSM), SAFE certifications or other advanced Agile certifications • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships * Experience designing and leading Scrum of Scrums * JIRA experience • Knowledge and understanding of Agile operational metrics such as: Velocity, Predictability, Sprint burn-downs, and etc. Other Desired Qualifications * Prefer Experience working with AWS DevOps tools * Prefer Digital Payment experience * Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship building skills * Ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity * Ability to solve problems and analyze issues * Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills * Commitment to deliver the highest quality work product with close attention to detail * Ability to prioritize and efficiently plan for short-term and long-term deliverables * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team across organizational boundaries Benefits you'll love: We offer all the important things you'd want - like competitive salaries, an ownership stake in the company, medical and dental insurance, time off, a great 401k matching program, tuition assistance program, an employee volunteer program, and a wellness program.
