Role Summary: This role a technical leadership role, with expectations to be well versed with latest Software Development Technologies and to spend 90 percentage of work time doing Software Development and code reviews etc., the candidate should be able to hold their own in architecture discussions as well as talk to business to understand their needs. Expected to create a well-run team that can sustain credibility with the business users. This will require investing time to learn the unique needs of each area and to proactively advocate how technology can be best used to further the business goals. This role does not involve people management, but will require mentoring of junior developers and getting them up to speed with latest technologies and best practices. Responsibilities include: Technical leadership application development at team level, mentoring junior developers, as well as building on existing recruiting capabilities to address new needs and skills gaps. Creation and alignment of technology roadmap to business strategy/outcomes Provide production support for defined products Role Responsibilities: Owns and delivers complex cloud based solutions using technologies such as Salesforce.com, Force.com, Apex, Lightning components, Lightning Flow, scripting languages, Node JS , Heroku, Salesforce CPQ, Shield encryption Owns the architecture and design of complex solution components (e.g., integration, security, custom development) Leads and facilitates discovery and scoping sessions with nosiness partners Articulate to customer stakeholders the value of recommended solutions and approach Understands client business process and potential constraints to define optimal and reasonable project scope and expectations Incorporates past experience, business savvy, creative and out-of-the-box thinking in designing solutions; offer multiple, potential solutions Demonstrates strong leadership skills in all stages of the software development life cycle by providing guidance and advisory support to the team on implementation approach and complex configuration issues Owns reviewing design elements and signing off on the overall technical design Works with vendors and employees in a distributed Onshore/Offshore model Responsible for ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored Identifies and confirms technical design risks, and develop mitigation approaches Creates and defend solution estimate /Level of Effort & SOW and contribute to SOW, validate estimates to support change orders Coordinates with Technical Architects, integration, and data consultants, and others, as needed, for specific technical design requirements Provides sound technical recommendations on third-party applications, new tools and technologies Manages expectations with prospects, clients, Consultants, and SFDC - i.e., be the voice of common sense Establishes solid credibility on behalf of self and with prospects, clients, and SFDC Participate in QA checkpoints during delivery to provide guidance and ensure solution aligns with original scope Experience: Required - 8+ years of experience with Salesforce with 5+ years as a Salesforce Architect 5+ years' experience with Integration's technologies Education: Required - B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent job experience. Desired - Salesforce architect certification (Preferred) General Skills: Experience in working in Agile teams (SCRUM, KANBAN) Abillity to research new technologies and produce white papers for internal and external consumption Solid hands on Software Development experience Experience in Dev Ops model of development, with practical experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins Practical knowledge of GIT Keeping abreast with current and future technological trends Demonstrated record of technical leadership and mentoring junior developers Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal) and sharp business acumen; ability to communicate and present to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical Ability to break down major issues and problems into workable pieces; see whole situation behind a problem or issue; able to understand causes, effects and implications Specialized Skills: Required - End to End implementation experience with Salesforce platform Ability to lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients Experience with development technologies such as Apex/VF. Lighting components, HTML, Java Script, Etc. Integration experience using Web Based Technologies (SOAP, REST), Middlewear tools such as Informatica, Biztalk and MuleSoft Hands on knowledge of options and how to handle security requirements such as single sign on and data security (Shield) Experience with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies such as Salesforce DX, ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Jenkins, SVN Expert knowledge on Salesforce capabilities, with focus on Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community/experience Cloud , Service Cloud, Lightning Platform and Lightning Web Component. Hands-on ability to build reference architecture and reference implementations to lead and guide the development and engineering staff. Solid understanding of the Salesforce data models, Salesforce integration patterns and methods, and UI capabilities. Hands on experience developing in multiple SFDC orgs / domains. Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a solution Hands on experience on Agile framework and DevOps Salesforce Admin, Developer and Architect Certifications Maintain certifications and continually explore solution capabilities of the Salesforce ecosystem Desired - AWS Certifications and/or Salesforce Native Mobile (IOS, Android) development experience Familiarity with Data Lake concept Data Wharehouse Blockchain Technologies Work Flexibility: Travel 25% of the time Onsite, remote work options dependent on team operating model and initiative Flexibility to work outside of core hours (Monday - Friday) to support business demand We are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
