Resident Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

  • 4G configuration for 4G wholesale subscribers
  • vSDM deployment in lab to support 4G wholesale subscribers
  • vHSS/HLR, vAAA, SDL, SDLA, vProvGW, CBAM. The NEs will be integrated into the existing baremetal NetAct
  • 5G-NSA configuration for 5G wholesale subscribers
  • 4G/5G-SA configuration for 5G wholesale subscribers
  • Services shall be delivered 8AM to 5PM local time 5 days per week ("Normal Business Hours").
  • Assist O&M staff to carry out tasks and activities related to day-to-day operations
  • Monitoring and surveillance activities
  • Event detection and symptom collection (collect logs, traces, alarms, etc)
  • Routine diagnostics and corrective action management
  • Open tickets on encountered issues and support working on the cases until closed
  • Provide a periodic activity report to Nokia and customer
  • Service level configuration activities - Check the status of services, parameter tuning.
  • Feature level configuration activities - Global parameters, parameter tuning, growing in new interfaces.
  • Software upgrades/patches within the current release as needed
  • Support resolution of issues encountered during the testing/validation/provisioning activities
  • Provide feedback on documentation (MOP, etc.) to help the production team's rollout
