Infrastructure PM

  1. Must be located in the US and authorized to work in US and able to travel to various customer sites within the US within a two weeks' notice. (pending lifting of COVID restrictions/risks)
  2. Must be a skilled project manager in the telecom field with a minimum 5 years' experience dealing with major US Communication Service Providers (CSP). PMI PMP certification would be a plus
  3. Experience with managing project teams of solution architects, technical projects managers and engineers working remotely from different locations, countries, and covering different time zones.
  4. Experience dealing with 3 rd party vendors and managing their deliverables.
  5. General telecommunication know-how, and specifically technical knowledge of core, applications, and packet core portfolio, including IMS and SDM solution integration. Good understanding of call flows. Knowledge of mobile networks (3G, 4G, and 5G) and Cloud + Virtualization and VNF deployments is a plus.
  6. End to end service know-how including the activities related to Lab testing, Installation, Commissioning, SW Updates, SW Upgrades, FOA, Certificate of Completion, and Handover to Care processes.
  7. Able to support solution managers on pre-sales activities by reviewing business cases and providing effort and time estimate of deployment activities related to core, applications and/or packet core portfolio.
  8. Able to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks; and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the project.
  9. Soft skills as described below
    1. Excellent communication, collaboration, and business skills - organizational, time management skills, etc. normally required to perform complex team-oriented tasks
    2. Advanced written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to succinctly and clearly express ideas internally and directly to customer through email, phone, face to face and other means
    3. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
    4. Ability to represent the Nokia team in Customer meetings without additional assistance
  10. Experience with the Nokia Execute process preferred.
  11. Knowledge of Nokia Core, Applications, and Packet Core products and solutions preferred.
  12. Experience with Nokia PM tools including PMAT, myERM, SERF, CRIA/ZINA preferred.
