Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience.

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants must be able to obtain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. Applicants must be willing to undergo U.S. Government / Department of Defense special access clearance process. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

With accuracy and exceptional problem-solving skills, the Program Performance Management Specialist will provide contract/program cost and/or schedule management and analysis for small IR&D or engineering projects or larger programs in a supporting role. We'll rely on you to support the development of the project/program time-phased cost and/or schedule baseline within the project/program parameters in conjunction with the project/program team, as well as analyze and monitor the project/program performance (historical and predictive), estimate at completion and/or schedule completion date, and support recommendations made to project/program manager and leads.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Advanced excel skills are needed; creation and management of formulas and functions in excel is required

Ability to prepare power point presentations and financial graphs are required

Ability to solve problems

Ability to work both independently and as a team member

Organizational, analysis, and time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to multi-task high priorities

Ability to demonstrate professional written and oral communications

Interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor in interacting with a wide variety of people

Effectively and efficiently works within time constraints and adjusts to changing circumstance

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Contact with internal customers: Program Management, Finance, Contracts, Engineering and Supply Chain Management

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:

This is an entry level position

Work is closely supervised and mentoring will be provided

The junior analyst is responsible for providing contract/program cost and analysis for an engineering project

The analyst will support the development of the project/program financial plan with the project/program team

The analyst will analyze project/program performance (historical and projections), monitor the project/program Estimate at Complete and/or schedule completion date, and support recommendations made to project/program manager and leads

The analyst is an individual contributor taking direction from the Sr. Financial Analyst and the Program Manager

Collects and updates program performance data, prepares and analyzes reports/ data and prepares them for presentation

Reviews results and recommendations with program manager and program leads

Coordinates contract/program Estimate At Complete (EAC), risk and opportunity, and Management Reserve data with Finance organization as input into business financial commitments

Updates program monthly/yearly budgets and required documents associated with contract changes

Fosters an environment of trust and teamwork: build collaborative relationships
