This role is located partially remote (after Virtual only is lifted) with regular office attendance in RTP, NC, so candidates should be located within a reasonable commuting distance. There is no relocation offered.Our mission in CIO is to create a productive hybrid cloud environment for IBMers. Our strategy is to lead with design and user experience, to engineer the systems that run the business, and to innovate to transform the business.As a program manager for the CIO hybrid cloud Monitoring & Event Management team, you will coordinate complex cross-functional programs across the team, balancing conflicting priorities and ensuring a high level of visibility of the work taking place across the team. The team members are currently located in RTP, elsewhere in the US, Brazil, Hungary and Poland, so expect some meetings to start early!You will lead the effort to coordinate working methods, using tools such as Jira, Trello, Slack and Github.We use contract resource extensively, so a key part of the role is managing access and tracking the work and deliverables for around 70 contract staff, identifying skills and resource gaps and reporting to the Lead Manager for the team.Key Responsibilities:+ You will coordinate development and deployment of solutions delivered by CIO hybrid cloud Monitoring & Event Management+ Employ project management skills, including agile specific concepts like backlog management, tracking burndown and velocity+ You will facilitate operational work in a transparent, collaborative manner+ Work across multi-disciplinary teams to remove impediments blocking the completion of work or commitments+ Develop and report on key project, activity and contractor utilization metricsIBM will not be providing visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future.
