Open Web Collective is looking for a full-time Program Manager, to lead our accelerator programs and external partnerships in 2021 as we continue to scale. Role Summary The Program Manager (PM) role will create playbooks to deliver the best possible program experience for founders, mentors, partners, and investors. PMs are responsible for the operations and execution of internal programs and external partnerships with other programs. This includes event management, utilizing tools/developing processes to manage program data, building and scheduling the 3-month programming calendar, execution of Demo Day, and ensuring that each company is positioned to maximize their growth and development. Experience with operations and event planning is required and is a major part of this role. Familiarity with the early-stage venture-backed company ecosystem is preferred but not required. What You'll Do Partner with the team to develop the program plan and own the overall responsibility for the successful execution of the accelerator, including Demo Day Deliver the best possible experience to founders, mentors, partners, investors, and other program stakeholders Own all-year-round logistics, operations, administration, scheduling, calendar management, and event planning for the program Support relationship management with OWC & NEAR Partners Represent OWC in the local community and ecosystem Continuously support OWC alumni Grow the network of mentors, potential partners, and investors. Support your NEAR & OWC teammates across multiple Internal and external programs. What You Bring To The Role: 5+ years of experience in fast-paced environments with a focus on event planning, business operations, and/or project management Strong interest in the discourse around technology, startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital Willingness to intensively and rapidly dive into creating high-growth startups completely from scratch Strong written and verbal communication skills A "no job is beneath me" mentality Entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university About NEAR and OWC NEAR's mission is to enable community-driven innovation to benefit people around the world.
