If so, let's talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are in a data science renaissance and Data Science Elite (DSE) is right at the heart of it for IBM's Data and AI core product, Cloud Pak for Data. Our Elite team of data science practitioners work hand in hand with clients to help them learn how to succeed with data science and advance in their overall AI journey. The team will include data engineers, machine learning engineers, operations research / optimization engineers and data journalists.The program manager is expected to work directly with the executive leadership team of DSE Americas and Worldwide, partner teams inside and outside of DSE (ie: Expert Labs services, Technology Garage, Global Markets sales, etc) to manage daily operations, improve processes and track our team's performance against Key Objectives and Results.Key Responsibilities:1. Work with team to upkeep and adhere to current Data Science Elite process and meet or exceed Objective Key Results2. Proactively track report and manage of team performance metrics reported to key executive leadership within IBM's Data and AI organization3. Lead process and change management with worldwide DSE leadership and partner organizations within IBM as DSE's mission evolves with time4. Manage staffing, manager and team call agendas for Director of Data Science Elite Americas to organize, communicate organizational announcements and maximize project pipeline and team utilization5. Product management of internal operational dashboard, working with executive product sponsor, key business users, designers and developers to prioritize and deliver on bugs and feature enhancements locations: Astor Place, NY Austin, TX, Research Triangle Park, NC, San Jose, CA & San Francisco, CARequired Technical and Professional Expertise* Background in Technology/IT industry or Data Science/ Analytics organization* At least 4 years experience - Project Management* At least 4 years experience - Business and Leadership* Proficiency in Agile Project Management methods and tools; including Scrum and/or Kanban, Trello, Customer Relationship Management systems (CRMs)* Experience working with cross-functional teams: sales, marketing, go-to-market, managers and executives* Ability to work within a team enviroment as well as independently with some strategic guidance.* Proactive, Organized, attentive to detail, problem solver, analytical and effective oral, written, communication and interpersonal skills.* Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise* Master degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems or Industrial Engineering* At least 5 years experience - Business and Leadership* Some Management experience is preferred* Some Programming and Design experience is preferred (SQL, Python,About Business UnitIBM's Cloud and Cognitive software business is committed to bringing the power of IBM's Cloud and Watson/AI technologies to life for our clients and ecosystem partners around the world.
