The Red Hat Portfolio Product Marketing team is looking for a Product Marketing Intern to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you will help us guide the go-to-market strategy for the next generation of solutions and cross-Red Hat initiatives. You?ll work as part of our Emerging Technologies team, focusing on future technologies and solutions around artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), edge computing, cloud infrastructure, and other related areas. You?ll investigate how new technologies are surfacing and being dealt with in open source communities, academic programs, government programs, and industry programs associated with them. As a Product Marketing Intern, you will research technologies like AI, ML, blockchain, exascale computing, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), and Edge and internet of things (IoT). Your research reports will inform recommendations that will be made to the Office of the CTO and OSAS for strategic engagement and investment. You?ll need to have technical expertise and the ability to conduct systematic research. You should also have understanding of and experience working in related fields like IoT or advanced analytics, along with experience working with open source communities.
**Primary job responsibilities**
+ Conduct secondary research to identify areas of innovation around emerging technologies
+ Work with members of the Office of the CTO to refine research direction
+ Document sources of information
+ Create a report that summarizes key findings
+ Propose recommendations to guide strategy for developing activities with target organizations
+ Bachelor's degree in a field related to computer science and 1+ year(s) reached toward the completion of a master?s degree
+ Very good written and verbal communication skills
+ Experience structuring complex research projects
+ Project management capabilities
+ Ability to analyze and distill information
