IntroductionThe X-Force Threat Intelligence Product Manager has global responsibilities for defining and executing a business and product strategy to accelerate IBM's market share in the Threat Intelligence and related security markets. This includes all elements of market understanding, competitive intelligence, product positioning, go-to-market and product development strategies for X-Force products and working collaboratively with X-Force related services.Your Role and Responsibilities+ Define and execute a business and product strategy based on a deep understanding of the Threat Intelligence, Security and emerging XDR market and customer needs.+ Define and evangelize key use cases which drive product adoption and understanding, in addition to product evolution to meet the needs of security analysts. A primary focus will be integration of X-Force solutions with other IBM Security tools and SIEM/SOAR solutions.+ Develop core positioning, value propositions benefit statements, product and marketing messages for Threat Intelligence offerings. Work closely with the marketing and sales team to ensure proper marketing material for clients, partners and field sales organizations are available to best articulate value and return on investment for clients.+ Define and execute all related packaging and pricing of products aligned to market needs.+ Drive a cross functional matrixed team of marketing, sales, services, engineering, support and pricing representatives to ensure business and product strategy execution is tightly coordinated to support Threat Intelligence offerings.+ Work closely with broader IBM Security product and services teams to maximize use of threat intelligence capability.+ Subject matter expert and spokesperson to internal audiences such as sales and services teams and external audiences such as customers, partners, analysts and press.+ Location: Must be located in Boston, MA or Atlanta, GA.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Strong product and/or business management experience of security or threat intelligence software solutions (5+ years).+ Deep industry knowledge of Cyber threat intelligence, Threat Intelligence Platforms, and Cyber security as applied across industries in in government and commercial sectors. Understanding of relationships and technologies used across the SOC, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence teams.+ Strong practitioner knowledge of SOC analysts, threat researchers and threat analysis skills and use cases a SOC or threat analyst is trying to achieve.+ Strong written and oral communication skills with an ability to express complex business and technical concepts in simple forms of value proposition to clients and sellers.+ Ability to translate market understanding into detailed use cases and product requirements to influence the X-Force products and integration with other Security products such as Qradar/Splunk and use in MSS practices.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Ability to collaborate/lead across multi-discipline teams (Sales, Services, Marketing etc) to further penetration in the market and drive successful cyber projects.+ Ability to translate technical value into business value.+ Familiarity with enterprise security software systems and their deployment.+ Prior product management experience.+ Direct analyst practitioner experience in government or private sector context.+ Understanding/experience of agile/iterative software development method, Design Thinking, Pragmatic Marketing.+ The successful candidate will have a strong balance of business strategy and vision combined with attention to detail in execution.+ Self-starter and confident to be the leader of your domain and ability to set and achieve realistic goals.+ Comfortable in undefined environments where you set the direction and leading teams that are matrixed and not in a direct reporting line.+ Strong presence and credibility in Cyber intelligence domain.+ Ability to range from high level discussion to very detailed documentation.+ Highly organized and enjoys problem solving.+ Excellent team player and contributor.+ Taking others with you - the desire and ability to persuade, convince, or influence others.+ Displays a commitment to continuous improvement of processes and deliverables.About Business UnitIBM is a leading provider of enterprise security solutions.
