The Product Consultant responsibilities include working closely with different departments within the company, analyzing product data to make product recommendations, interviewing COB business to receive end customer feedback, and compiling product data. You should be able to study products on the market in order to create a better product. A Product Consultant works with both developers and business users to prioritize competing business needs. This position will be directly in support of the Coordination of Benefits (COB) Product line within the PI department. For reference, COB is the process by which a health insurance company determines if it should be the primary or secondary payer for medical claims, when a patient has coverage from more than one health insurance policy. This Product Consultant will be responsible for the work plan for a single technical development team. The Product Consultant will need to stay coordinated with the Product Manager's vision of epics, capabilities, features for each fiscal year. Will partner with their respective development team to maximize the delivery for their part of that vision. This position will be within the Program Integrity (PI) group. The PI department is responsible for proper payments to legitimate providers for reasonable services provided to eligible members. This position will be on a team of Business Representatives working directly with the IT development teams that enable the business to drive efficiency and compliance. Focus will be on including technologies that are more cutting-edge and capabilities including more technologically advanced concepts including use of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, as well as best in class industry capabilities in both technology and Health Care domain. This position does require strong data analytical capabilities in order to perform the analysis, and then propose a recommendation based on that analysis. The responsibility including providing expertise to lower level consultants on the analysis of business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs. COB Product Business ConsultantResponsible for translating moderately complex and varied business needs into application software requirements. Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems and business analysis and is able to consider the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Develop an understanding of COB business workflow and product line to meet the current and future needs.Work with cross functional Business and IT team in crystalizing requirement and translate it for development /engineering team.Analyze metrics to continually improve products performance. Responsible for writing Epics, Capabilities, Features, and Stories Responsible for developing cadence to help the team grow iterative and incrementally. Actively participate in PO sync meeting.Provide System Demo to business stakeholder. Actively involved in Backlog and content readiness. Proactively perform Pre- & Post PI evet responsibility coordinate input e.g, business context, key milestones and solution context.May lead teams of analysts assigned to complex projects. Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex and varied business needs. Analyzes and designs solutions to address complex and varied business needs. Consults with business partners concerning application and implementation of technology. Preferred ExperienceHealthcare certification such AHIP certifications. Experience in blockchain.Experience in healthcare transaction set such X12 EDI 270 ,271, 834 ,837 etcFACETS and other Claim administration system.Hands on experience with Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Product tools such as (Ah-ha, Product view, JIRA Align, etc).Experience with PI planning event and Agile Release Train (ART)Requires a BS/BA degree, 8 - 10 years of business analysis experience, which should include analysis, project management, working knowledge of mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Ability to travel maybe required.Colorado Annual Salary Range*: $79,000 - $99,000Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. * The hourly or salary range is the range Anthem in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
