The Principal Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for design and implementation of technology systems that will support the enterprise infrastructure for Broadridge Technology Solution Services (TSS). The person will analyze business and systems requirements and define architecture standards that will meet the business need across the server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage, production and enterprise networks. Work closely with the Cloud, Application Development and Service Reliability Engineering teams to enable business solutions.

The role requires relevant hands-on experience and thought leadership in designing and building resilient modern technology infrastructure, including SDWAN, ACI, Blockchain, AI/ML and Cloud architectures. You will provide technical guidance and support, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendor partners, business partners and Clients to ensure our networks adhere to and align with long-term One-Broadridge vision and Cloud strategy. You will develop and enforce global standards, policies, and procedures for client and Broadridge network infrastructure deployment and management within the frameworks of security best-practices and PCI DSS Compliance. This role will also assist and direct the resolution of complex technical problems and provide timely and accurate root-cause analysis with actionable remediation plan. In this role you will work closely with our outsource partner to create new and drive on-going client network projects. Vendor management and effective communication skills will be critical to the success of this role and ensure we maintain the integrity of the services we are delivering through successful completion of the projects.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

* Lead the ideation and design for acquisitions around Data Center, Client Connectivity and Infrastructure requirements

* Identify gaps in the Broadridge Infrastructure with the intent to educate and remediate

* Explain and educate complex solutions and integrations in a clear and articulate manner to clients internal and external.

* Mentor and effectively team with key stakeholders to review proposed solutions and assess deliverability feasibility and create detailed Technology Reference Architecture

* Plan and design the structure of a technology solution for given proposal.

* Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods.

* Provide Principal SME support in collaboration with the Engineering and SRE teams reviewing to bring best practices on various technologies and tools.

* Develop solution blueprints - involving vendor partner capabilities, in-house capabilities and new build.

* Implement Technology & Architecture Governance within the TSS Infrastructure teams to ensure architecture & quality standards alignment.

* Become a thought leader by educating and sharing best practices, building deep relationships with technical leaders, contributing to publications, white papers, conferences, etc.

Required Qualifications:

* 15+ years of core infrastructure technology experience.

* Experience in various types and levels of lead architect roles for large engagements.

* Proficient in new age technology and architecture paradigms.

* Demonstrated success in leading and implementing complex solutions for large enterprise.

* Substantial delivery and hands-on experience

* Presence in industry forums

* Experience in leading technology solutions for large business proposals

* Proven experience in playing a Technology Practice Head role

* Leading and establishing large technology practice

* Managing a team of senior technology leaders

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* Lead technology driven organizational strategies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

* Ability to correctly visualize and implement virtual designs and concepts, in order to define project objectives. Capable of understanding requirements and developing comprehensive solutions incorporating technology, administration and business processes.

* Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and supporting on premise, off-premise and hybrid network infrastructure solutions.

* Demonstrated experience in LAN/WAN, MPLS, QoS, multicast and core networking discipline, including advance routing protocols, BGP and OSPF.

* Demonstrated experience in IP converged networks.

* Multi-vendor knowledge, including Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, Arista, Checkpoint, Fortinet, and etc

* Experience and familiarity with various server and storage hardware offerings from Dell/EMC, HPE, Intel, Cisco, IBM Power

* Experience with Windows, Unix, Linux, Network, Storage, and virtualization

* Ability to work on a team or independently with minimal supervision to achieve project milestones and deadlines. Knows how to escalate appropriately, efficiently, and effectively.

* Excellent analytical and organizational skills; able to manage a complex project independently, while functioning effectively under time constraints, established deadlines and within budget.

* Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding and constantly changing environment, while being able to set priorities and balance multiple deadlines.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present information in clear, concise terms to all position levels in the organization, as well as business partners, vendors and technical staff.

* Excellent customer service skills, including interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

* Professional appearance and demeanor.

* Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be available for travel.
