Click here to learn more about Oracle Cloud Infrastructure products and solutions.As a member of the Global Business Finance team, the Sr. Financial Analyst- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) will be part of the central finance team supporting senior management. This role requires an individual who is entrepreneurial in nature, wears many hats, and enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment that is more start-up than big company. The successful candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to think and plan for the long-term in an ever-evolving environment. This is a place for individuals who enjoy a challenge and have a desire for professional growth opportunities and continuous learning.Main Responsibilities: Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning. Provide management with consolidated insights into drivers of gross margin, as well as risks and opportunities. Manage and PM LRP/Budget across all lines of business. Work closely with the tooling team to build the financial infrastructure to support the current and future business requirements. Use systems solutions to streamline reporting and automate internal processes. Preferred Skills & Experience Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or related field. MBA Preferred. 6+ years of directly applicable experience with time spent in FP within a large company handling full P Independent and entrepreneurial, ability to work with minimal direction Analytical, financial modeling and reporting skills Energetic and positive attitude in the face of stress. Advanced Excel and demonstrated ability to learn any new tool or system Experience with managing cross-team projects is a plus As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong analysis and research skills. Ability to partner across functions. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA in Accounting/Finance preferred.
