We are looking for a passionate individual contributor with knowledge and experience in Business Intelligence, to develop Analytics Applications..*What we do?* The healthcare industry continues to face profound changes, such as recent ones driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as evolving regulations, expectations and capabilities. Hospitals and health systems are working to improve patient care, reduce the burden on healthcare providers and manage costs. Healthcare technologies - such as security solutions, cloud, healthcare data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain - are helping organizations address these challenges today and to prepare them to meet the demands of tomorrow. Healthcare Global Business Unit (HCGBU) is a new business unit created from scratch at Oracle. HCGBU is not started from acquisitions in a traditional way, but instead we aim to use "startup" approach and build clean and scalable platform and products. HCGBU BI team is part of HCGBU organization, focusing on providing BI and analytics Applications. It delivers BI solution for HCGBU applications, allowing for self-service and ad-hoc analysis in addition to rich and comprehensive pre-built reports. The development involves the state of the art technologies, such as Oracle Analytic Cloud, Autonomous Data warehouse, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, etc..*Key Responsibilities:* + Investigate business workflows and rules in the healthcare business applications + Review BI Functional specs + Write Technical specifications and design documentation + Code, Unit Test and Deliver the Business intelligence application + Collaborate with stakeholders such as Product Manager, QA, Performance - Scalability and Reliability (PSR) Team, Localization teams. + Collaborate with cross groups like Upstream/Downstream teams for building integrated solutions. + Work with customer support teams and/or customers directly to help and resolve challenging customer problems + Define best practices documents and assist professional services team to implement those..*Expected Skills & Qualifications:* + At a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering + 7+ years of Software/Application development experience in relevant functional area. + Strong data modeling and SQL skills, strong understanding of OLAP, dimensional modeling concepts with Business Intelligence Hands-on experience + Strong knowledge in OBIEE or OAC + Strong skills in ETL process and tools, such as Informatic, ODI, PL/SQL + Quick learner. A "can do" resilient attitude, high energy, and creativity are required along with an ability to work unsupervised while handling multiple priorities + Excellent analytical skills and attention to details + Able to write and communicate clearly and effectively + Experience in developing cloud applications would be a plus + Good functional knowledge in healthcare domain is a plus + Exposure to Big Data/Hadoop technologies is a plus + Understanding of Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning and AI is desirable + Programming skills using Java, PERL and Python would be a plus Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications. As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
