IntroductionThe IBM Microsoft Center of Competency (CoC) team provides deep subject matter expertise to assist with Global business development, sales support, and delivery efforts of the Microsoft Platforms to the service lines and Industries within IBM and respective clients. We are currently seeking hands-on leaders in Microsoft Azure Architecture who are entrepreneurial in nature. In this role, you will bring a high degree of hands-on technical architecture expertise in design, development, and implementation of architecture strategy across multiple bid opportunities and projects. You should love wearing multiple hats.The Azure Architect will be responsible for architecting transformation and modernization of an enterprise solution using Microsoft Azure Platform in conjunction with various types of external systems and business applications. As an IBM COC Azure Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex Global problems. As an COC Architect you will define the scope, design and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform. In this role you are a technical leader 'top gun', serving as a liaison among IBM lines of business globally, business partners, technical resources, and client stakeholders.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Microsoft Global Center of Competency (CoC) Architect in this role:+ Creates healthy executive-level client relationships.+ Contributes to multiple presales initiatives by owning the solution components in those from opportunity identification, qualification, scoping, solutioning, proposal writing, orals presentations and demonstrations.+ Oversees the development, maturation, and integration of enterprise architectures based on customer provided requirements to meet customer needs.+ Provides strong solutioning and delivery background to various types of external systems.
