Build and deliver the ISU s Data Sciences [DS] Charter in line with the identified needs and expectations of Client s NA LS clients
Advise clients on their Business 4.0TM journeys and architect new age solutions encompassing industry and Client specific solutions, products, platforms and services.
Envision the future of LS and role that digital technologies have in enabling it
Work with leading LS companies to help define and realize their new age vision, underlying business/operating models, processes and enabling tech
Ability to envision and actualize how new age tech can help customers in unearthing new opportunities or effectively solving problems at a value chain/business process level
Bridge gap between client business and IT organizations, by being a true partner, demonstrating thought leadership and providing advisory services. Help business capture innovation; think through corporate strategy, while putting technology to work in achieving it.
Champion technology and the digitalization of client business. Assess costs/benefits of new projects and justify funding on shortlisted projects, provide architectural guidance, support product evaluation and make recommendations.
Be a mentor/guide and pilot for our LS clients in their digital enablement journeys by:
a. Assessing their digital maturity and building corresponding roadmaps
b. Defining integrated operating models to enable effective collaboration with strategic partners
c. Establishing digital governance to set priorities, milestones, make investment decisions, and oversee results
d. Creating a solid technology foundation that enables and leverages new technologies and growth enablers such as Analytics, Big Data, AI/ML, Blockchain, IoT, etc.
Drive key solution elements for larger and complex bids or transformational engagements that touch multiple areas of client s business, as well take end to end solution ownership
Define reference architectures, frameworks and accelerators, to seamlessly seed digital into solutions during build and maintenance phases for our clients
Understand, imbibe and unlock the power of Client investments in digital to the benefit of our clients by suitably positioning them as key differentiators
Work with the corresponding horizontal teams in Client to enable and implement Client platforms/solutions/frameworks where most suitable
Create a Charter for driving Digital across the LS1 customer base and drive its accomplishment through the definition of a vision, mission, objectives, operating model, supporting org structure, role definition and cultural attunement
Participate in external webinars and present self-authored PoVs, presentations
Play a key role in winning marquee engagements or new logos
(a) Skills Profile
Ability to identify opportunities for increasing operational efficiencies, reducing product development cycles, simplifying and fastening scalability, all by right selection of digital levers
Knowledge of industry and market trends [global, regional and local]
Guide customer inputs to engagement articulation [scoping]
Enterprise architect with great experience in platform integration solutions, data integration, analytics, products and services, product engineering, multi-channel customer interactions, connected devices, good understanding of hardware and infrastructure aspects
Executed at least 10 large programs leveraging multiple digital technologies including Big Data, Cloud, IOT, Data sciences and new newer technologies like Block Chain, with at least 5 in the LS industry
Experience in one of the big data cloud distributions (Cloudera, HortonWorks MapR) and good understanding of the available Hadoop frameworks
Extensive experience in any of the popular cloud distribution (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and good understanding of the popular cloud services
End to end solutioning for multiple digital/new age tech related RFPs (at least 20), with at least 10 in LS
Has executed projects using AI, machine learning and predictive analytics with a focus on outcomes and not just efficiencies
Deep business acumen backed by a solid understand and experience with tech
Ability to develop a digitally oriented culture
Ability to evolve, reinvest, unlearn and learn emerging technologies
Data Oriented personality and strongly advocates data driven decision making
Strong practitioner of collaboration
Must be able to explain their work to top executives and give clear instructions to their subordinates combination of sales and delivery capabilities
Guide data sourcing, analysis and interpretation [particularly in scenarios of incompleteness]
Strategy formulation including optioneering and evaluation
Customer engagement and client management

Expertise in the applicability and adoption of emerging technologies within LS

Knowledge/Understanding of all business processes [R&D, manufacturing, sales and marketing, distribution, etc.] within Pharma and MDD
Broad understanding of IT applications supporting business processes
(c) Educational Background
BTech/BE or Master in Computer Applications with an MBA [preferred]
(d) Geo Experience
US focused
Global exposure and experience would be an added advantage.
