Avery Dennison plans to develop a learning program to build digital fluency and advocate a cultural change within the organization. The digital learning program will help increase revenues or improve productivity with new and innovative ideas.
The position can be located in either Glendale, CA or Mentor, OH
The Digital Learning Manager?s primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
+ Support the creation and development of a digital leadership learning and development strategy for Avery Dennison
+ Build a global curriculum to provide a defined digital learning training program for selected professional employees around the world. Determine design, content, staging, and delivery.
+ Determine and build external partnerships with learning institutions that may be leveraged regionally and/or globally to develop and deliver the curriculum.
+ Lead efforts to implement the first batch of digital learners in 2019 and train-the-trainers concepts
+ Incorporate lessons learned from the initial batch of learners, capture success metrics and improve the program on an ongoing basis.
+ Leverage and utilize combination of internal OD/LD talent, tools and assets, along with external talent, tools and assets.
+ Build and deliver on communication plans to broadcast the progress and success of the digital innovation program. This will include updates on digital learning and projects.
The Learning Manager?s primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
+ 6+ years experience in learning and development
+ Strong project & process and process management skills
+ Proven vendor management skills, including ability to develop relationships with institutions such as universities or training providers
+ Proven training program design, delivery, coaching and facilitation skills
+ Ability to learn quickly, build relationships and influence at all levels
+ Passion for building technology learning and leadership programs a plus
+ Ability to be self managed/directed and capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Ability to effectively present complex topics in a concise manner
+ Ability to research trends and benchmark best practices and translate them into applicable approaches for the business
+ Strong skills in organizational assessment, gap analysis and critical thinking
+ Demonstrated ability to lead change
+ Organizational design skills and experience a plus
+ Familiarity with technologies such as IoT, AI, Blockchain, RPA a plus
+ The ability to travel up to 25% of the time
