OneMain Financial is seeking candidates for a Lead Full Stack Developer responsible to identify and guide the Research and Development team in the review of cutting-edge technologies and determining possible opportunities to support OneMain business initiatives. Proven expertise in research and development of new technologies and delivery of working proof of concepts are key to success in this role. Candidates for this role must demonstrate an innovative mindset and be naturally curious about emerging technologies.
The Lead Full Stack Developer will use their excellent communication skills to partner will all levels of the organization to collaborate with internal partners on R&D definitions. They will turn these definitions into project-specific solutions for the Research and Development group consulting on Proof of Concepts with an ultimate goal of delivering emerging needs to meet business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Mathematics required; advanced degree in the same areas preferred
- 10+ years' hands-on experience designing and developing complex solutions
- Expert level background with a number of modern programming languages
- 2 years' experience in any two of the following: CI/CD, Chatbot, Blockchain, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, Virtual Digital Assistants
- Proven background with devops techniques is a must
