This position offers the opportunity to dive into complex and rewarding work with high visibility and potential to build and improve solutions at the strategic forefront of national and domestic security. Working side-by-side with members of law enforcement and intelligence communities, our engineers enhance the safety and security of the nation on a daily basis.Work Location:The primary location for this role is either Chantilly or McLean Virginia, with periodic meetings throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area.Clearance Required: No clearance is required to start, but candidate must be willing to undergo processing for a Top Secret clearance and be able to ultimately obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.Key Responsibilities include:Leading high-performing team members inone or more areas such as: software development, rapid prototype development, malware analysis, digital forensics, incident response, systems engineering The capability to be thrown into new situations, and learn new data formats, programming languages, or tools Ability to be proactive, self-managed, and able to interface well with sponsor personnel Required Qualifications:Degree in a relevant field (i.e. Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering), or equivalent job experience.5+ years of experience with Python, C/++, Java, or another programming languageExperience manipulating large datasets with at least one modern programming language or business intelligence platform (e.g., Python, R, SAS, MATLAB, Java, C++).Experience leveraging COTS tools or writing programs to visualize multi-dimensional data.Ability to apply, modify, and formulate algorithms and processes to solve challenging problems.Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word. Must have demonstrated proficiency and strength in verbal, written, presentation, and communications skills.
