Our universal architecture cuts out unnecessary fees and complexity of relying on currency pairs. We are needing our next Backend Engineer to help us push the envelope in this ever revolving industry and set the standard for the years to come in cryptocurrency. Youll be joining a new group working on new problems on a new codebase. Youll have significant ownership of the new codebase and will be a major contributor to a critical new business line.

What You Will Be Doing

Leading and architecting new development projects with our API integration platform.
Work with all manner of APIs and systems around the world
Leverage a variety of technologies: we use Go and/or Python primarily for microservices with a touch of NodeJs.
Work heavily with AWS and use the standard nix tool suite where and when appropriate.

What You Need for this Position

Required Qualifications

Three or more years experience in software engineering
Significant professional experience in at least one of our core languages: Go or Python
Experience and excitement to make greenfield architecture decisions as part of a new team
Effective communication skills; a positive, team player
Significant experience in automated testing frameworks, continuous integration, and test driven design
Comfort working in an agile, fast-moving, iterative software development process
