As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM's clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM X-Force Threat Intelligence team is looking for a front-end developer to drive intelligence operations at scale that would combine aspects of software development, malware analysis, and cyber threat intelligence analysis. The role requires the ability to develop user interfaces, including interactions, responsive layouts, and styling using the IBM Design System. You will be required to work closely with stakeholders to take wireframes from conception to implementation and work with back-end developers to ensure implemented UI code is unit tested and production ready. In addition, you will work in an agile, collaborative environment across the entire software architecture, understanding both front-end and back-end concerns, while specializing in the front-end. You will support a mix of long-term, iterative projects as well as short-notice presentations, papers, and communications. You will work across the IBM Security product and services team to develop custom solutions for support cyber threat intelligence analysis. The key task will be helping to develop cohesive, user-friendly interfaces across various Threat Intelligence frameworks and platforms. Up to 10% travel is required for training, conferences, or client engagements.Candidates should demonstrate background in computer science or engineering and an interest in software development and design. Our ideal candidates must demonstrate technical and problem-solving skills, a passion for technology and software, teamwork skills, and leadership potential. Candidates must be able to work on a remote team in a driven environment and exhibit creative thinking and collaboration. They should have the ability to turn ideas into reality, communicate effectively, and work closely with others in teams around the world. The successful candidate will be able to succinctly communicate complex material to a range of audiences.If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position $102,000 to $197,000 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience.
