  • Maintain the complicated relationship that our global employees have with the devices and/or technology they interact with on a daily basis (in order to do their jobs and get work done)
  • Help team members by solving computer issues to allow them to work effectively
  • Answer team members' questions efficiently to strive for optimized productivity and possess the know-how and experience needed to aid team members use common workplace devices, tools, applications and services
  • Who We Are Looking For

  • An individual with 1-3 years experience working in an independent IT Support role
  • A go-to person for "all things IT or technical" (e.g., troubleshooting a broken scanner that has repeatedly stumped the office manager, by explaining the detailed steps required to encrypt email and the importance of encrypting communications to a less tech-savvy individual)
  • You understand the importance of IT best practices and security and can maintain them in your sleep
  • You love people and working with people and enjoy helping team members to work effectively, securely and happily
  • You understand the importance of computer systems and applications working effectively to increase productivity
  • Skills and Knowledge

  • Desktop, laptop, server, tablet configuration (e.g. repairing, training, troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Understanding of all software systems in its entirety
  • Experience working with alternative operating systems
  • System replication and deployment, along with ability to reimage systems
  • Applications including but not limited to MSFT Office 365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Apple iWork (Keynote, Pages, Numbers), and OpenOffice (Writer, Calc, Impress)
  • Internet

  • Firewall, private networks, and wireless access
  • Internet, phone, and video conferencing connectivity, including IP systems
  • Experienced with various privacy software
  • Performing wiring or cabling duties in an office environment
  • Security

  • Backup, online storage and disaster recovery
  • Network documentation (hardware & software audits)
  • CCTV and IP video camera systems
  • Unlimited endpoint protection on diverse systems
  • Security services suite (e.g., antivirus, content filtering and device control)
  • Mindful of personal security and willing to adopt company security processes to everyday life
  • Physical security experience will be considered an asset
  • Mobile

  • Remote connectivity
  • Mobile device support for iPhone and Android (e.g., set up, backing up, upgrading, securing, etc.)
  • Apps used for work (e.g., configuration, updates, troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Ability to provide remote client support
  • Education

  • Single-handedly drive programs to teach people how to use their work tools in a secure and productive way
  • 24/7/365

  • We want you to maintain a work-life balance, however, we need you to understand that this is not your typical job that needs you to clock out at 6 PM every day
  • You need to work with a large geographically dispersed team consisting of people possessing a broad understanding of and comfort with technology
  • You may need to work outside of normal business hours in the event that a team member experiences an emergency or urgent situation
  • This role will require the ability to travel, potentially for more than two weeks at a time. For this reason, a valid passport will be mandatory.
