What You'll Do
Does leading an IoT sales team excite you? Are you an expert sales manager wanting to drive an industry-leading solution sales team at the world's top IoT technology provider? As an Internet of Things Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you will play a key rolein handling the Cisco Public Sector sales team and driving sales strategy for end-to-end solutions to our customers. Your focus will be selling our Industrial Networking portfolio, which includes ruggedized switching, routing and wireless offers, as well as Industrial security and more IoT specific solutions.
Who You'll Work With
You, as an IoT RSM, will own the sales motion for IoT US Public Sector sales (both Federal and SLED) by working hand in hand with Cisco account teams, channel partners, and customers to further the mission to protect, serve and educate. You will also work with Cisco's product management, industry solutions teams and others to drive strategy and deliver results.

- You have an IoT sales leadership background, preferably in Public Sector
- Experience leading large, complex, technology sales requiring C-level executive support
Can define and execute on sales strategy across a team
Strong metrics driven and forecasting mind set
- You have carried a team quota and consistently met/ exceeded your goals
- You are comfortable speaking in front of large audiences (100+) which will include a mix of technologists, leaders with a point of view, and industry professionals.
- You have experience in selling industrial networking
- You have experience working in an overlay sales role, or are open to it
You have sold through channel partners
You have specific solutions experience - in particular, Transportation, Roadways, Defense and Smart Cities expertise
You are efficient leading teams selling remotely or in-person and can travel up to 50% of the time
IoT Authority who has worked for 5+ years leading sales teams selling IoT hardware or platforms
Direct sales or sales management experience at Cisco, or one of our core IoT partners or competitors
Strong working knowledge of industrial networking and IoT sales plays in Public Sector
You have worked at both start-ups and large enterprise organizations
