This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:

ADM seeks a strong, results- and customer-service focused information risk professional to drive privacy and records management program automation, efficiency and effectiveness. This senior compliance specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing privacy and records management (information risk) operations and reporting at ADM, a Fortune 100 food and agriculture company headquartered in Illinois with locations in 70+ countries, which is investing heavily in digital transformation and innovation. The position will report to the Chief Privacy and Information Risk Officer and have broad operational and governance responsibilities across the information risk programs within ADM's Compliance Department. The role will be based out of ADM's offices in Chicago, Illinois; Decatur, Illinois; or Erlanger, Kentucky (Cincinnati, Ohio). The successful candidate will thrive when working cross-functionally across departments and regions to meet objectives, but be independently capable of managing projects and timelines to deliver on defined goals.

Job Responsibilities:

* Improve global privacy-by-design process and technology solutions in line with GDPR-based ADM privacy principles to improve efficiency and effectiveness, which will include:
* Advising Global Technology ("GT") and business process owners on privacy risks and controls and tracking implementation of advice;
* Retaining up-to-date asset and records of processing activities; and
* Developing privacy approval processes consistent with related stakeholder processes
* Design and implement privacy third-party due diligence process and contract tracking in collaboration with Procurement, Information Security and other GT and Compliance functions; serve as privacy authority in enterprise third-party due diligence processes
* Coordinate with GT, Marketing, and Corporate Communications to coordinate digital compliance; coordinate compliance functions within enterprise cookie management and preferences tools
* Establish master repository of enterprise internal information risk policies, standards and external privacy statements and maintain Global Privacy Office Sharepoint sites
* Provide project management support for enterprise privacy risk assessment, privacy risk assessment methodology and reporting, and risk register
* Supervise and perform compliance gap assessments and develop corrective action or remediation plans in consultation with CPO, Director of Records Management and regional privacy leads for emergent risk issues or new/revised information risk-related laws, regulations and regulatory mentorship, in areas of:
* Privacy
* Digital Marketing/Consumer Contact
* Cybersecurity
* Records retention
* Confidentiality and commercial secrecy
* Regulations pertaining to data-intensive technologies (e.g., Artificial intelligence/machine learning, blockchain, biometrics, employee surveillance)
* Track information risk KRIs, KPIs and metrics to monitor program success and maturity
* Assist Chief Privacy Officer in business case development, selection and deployment of enterprise privacy and records management technology solutions and monitoring value of existing solutions
* Support Chief Privacy Officer in developing an enterprise training plan and conducting functional, job-specific information risk training and awareness campaigns
* Draft internal policies and procedures concerning global information risks

Job Requirements:

* Undergraduate Degree
* 4 years' experience in privacy, records management, information governance, information security (with privacy compliance emphasis) or general compliance, with either a large general consulting company, small privacy- or data protection-focused consulting company, or multinational corporation
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute projects on time
* English proficiency

Preferred

* Professional Degree (law, business, information risk, technology)
* CIPM certification
* Privacy experience at a multi-national with EU and U.S. operations
* OneTrust administrator experience
* PowerBI and/or other data visualization program experience
* German, Portuguese or French proficiency!
* CIPT certification; CIPP-E or similar GDPR-focused privacy certifications!
