Working with staff and customers, you'll determine system requirements and ensure timely service delivery as well as analyze information and/or technology needs of the customer and initiate design, planning, implementation or operations processes necessary to fulfill those needs. We'll rely on you to seek out learning opportunities to expand knowledge of IT concepts, processes and procedures, and to improve customer service. You'll work with team members to establish measurements, monitor performance, establish processes and procedures.

What you bring to the table:

* A Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent experience plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations
* Understanding of various IT technical solutions, such as Data Warehousing, Data Integrations, Workflow solutions, and other IT related capabilities.
* Familiarity with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
* Deep understanding Employee engagement processes
* Knowledge of GDMS HR organization members and their responsibilities.
* Ability to create and deliver high impact presentations that clearly communication the message.

Specific Responsibilities:

The HR Portfolio Manager will be responsible for many areas including:

* Responsible for the development of short, medium, and long-term technology and operational strategies aligned with business imperatives.
* Setup periodic meetings with key individuals in the HR Organization to status work
* Understand industry best practices and new technologies and how they can be applied to the HR business problems.
* Responsible for budget ownership and performance to target
* Travel to different GDMS locations to meet with HR employees to understand their challenges (post COVID)
* Use your analytics skills to look for ways to help the HR organization become more efficient and reduce manual and non-value-added labor
* Educate IT Leadership on the HR organizational challenges by delivering presentations and sending update emails
* Collaborate with your peers in IT to help delivery solution and simple requests to the HR organization

Location:

This job is a remote position with an understanding that the position requires travel to other GDMS locations across the country once it's safe to travel again.
