We are looking for an amazing, data-driven head of marketing to work at BlockApps, the world's first Blockchain as a Service company, with clients ranging from startup to Fortune 500s. As the head of marketing, you will be the team leader responsible for telling the world (and company) the story of our product. You will constantly interact with teammates and prospects to bring the product to life. You will be expected to be our chief advocate for our product(s) and its benefits. Additionally, you will be charged with crafting the strategy around the messaging and marketing for new launches.

Job Requirements:


  • 6-8 years of B2B experience in the marketing, communication, or public relations fields
  • BA/BS in a journalism, communications, marketing or other business-related field or equivalent work experience
  • Marketing or related field background required
  • Experience with supervision, management, and mentoring of junior professionals required


  • Articulate and confident communicator
  • 2+ years of experience with project management or corporate user acquisition marketing
  • Prior experience with building and marketing products in a corporate environment
  • Deep understanding of social and viral mechanics needed to engage corporate clients
  • Experience with successfully gaining business community engagement
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively and work in a fast paced and collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work effectively in situations that require flexibility in approach and execution
  • Experience in B2B Email marketing, PR, sales, and navigating paid social media sites (such as LinkedIn ads, Twitter ads, and Google Adwords) in order to generate corporate interest, convert corporate visitors into leads, and then nurture them (in cooperation with the sales team) using dynamic workflows into converted corporate clients
  • Ability to write compelling, creative, accurate and grammatically correct content at a fast pace

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a business client community
  • Market and promote BlockApps to businesses at conferences and other corporate centric events
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product
  • Develop and implement marketing/communication plans
  • Nurture and maintain relationships with media resources
  • Utilize working knowledge of client relations and business development initiatives
  • Use media and personal connections to grow our corporate client base
  • Create innovative and rich product content in the media that will intrigue business readers
  • Measure and optimize our corporate client's journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage
  • Onboard and optimize new marketing channels and partners
  • Apply deep behavioral learning to create highly targeted engagement of enterprise clients
  • Grow a collaborative, optimistic, and supportive culture
  • Be a key decision maker and work very closely with leadership
  • Build and grow relationships with agencies, publishers, and networks
  • Participate in creative planning sessions to help define and evaluate growth initiatives
  • Direct and manage the Company's media/public relations program - i.e. pitch stories to reporters, distribute monthly or quarterly press packages
  • Direct and manage external communication programs such as writing and distributing monthly e-newsletters
  • Develop the Company's brand identity standards and ensure that all marketing collateral materials conform to these standards
  • Provide counsel to the Company regarding both business and community sponsorship opportunities including the examining and evaluation of return on investment
  • Oversee and manage all advertising (print, online, radio, TV, etc.)
  • Supervise, manage, and mentor others in the marketing department
