The Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is looking for talented, highly motivated candidates to work intimately with our lead Government customers to co-develop FPGA based network solutions. Working alongside Intel processors, the FPGA is delivering a highly efficient, flexible and scalable platform to solve our automotive customers' intricate processing challenges.
You will work and collaborate in a rapid learning environment, alongside industry experts and Government users to accelerate next generation systems through highly optimized embedded FPGA implementations. Our innovation driven environment will encourage you to become a self-starter and a leader to solve most challenging technical problems.
Technical development types will be varied, including High Level Synthesis, RTL design, High-Speed serial interfaces, memory interfaces and full lifecycle development (including design, verification, debug). The successful candidate will have a proven ability to implement and efficiently map complex system to FPGA based platforms.
The successful candidate will gain immediate visibility of the impact of their work and directly drive Government customer prototypes and solutions.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering, BSCE, BSCE, wireless communication with 6+ years of industry experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical engineering, MSCE, MSCS, wireless communication with 4+ years of experience in the industry. 7+ years of working experience in semiconductor or high-tech industry, preferably in a FPGA, ASIC, GPU, SoC, telecom, network, etc. Experience in a technical business-related role (e.g., technical sales, technical marketing, technical business development, etc.) US Person, potential future candidate for Government background check and security clearance 10+ years of working experience in semiconductor or high-tech industry, preferably in a telecom, network, 5G developer, etc. Knowledge and/or experience in telecom and networking industry to include network layer model architecture, multi-cast, implementations of IPSec and MacSEC Experience working for mobile operators, network infrastructure vendors Market segment experience in Communications, Consumer, Data Center, Cloud, etc. is desirable Familiar with emerging technologies such as vRAN, MEC, IoT, Network Security, Blockchain, ML, AI, etc. Strategic thinker with proven track record of delivering business, marketing and/or product innovation Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must as this position and requires interaction at multiple levels within Intel and across a variety of job functions Experience working with Government customers and contractors in a Federal Acquisitions environment Inside this Business Group
