As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM's clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Global Offensive Security Program Manager will be a part of X-Force Red Offensive Security, IBM's elite security testing team. The primary duty is managing security testing and vulnerability management programs for clients' security needs. Secondary duties include assisting in the sales process with potential or existing clients and acting as a client's primary program contact for projects delivered by X-Force Red Offensive Security. It is critical that the Program Manager be able to rapidly interact to on-demand requests with minimal assistance. There is a potential for 25% travel, including international travel. Travel depends on project requirements.The responsibilities are as follows:+ Effective communication and presentation skills+ The ability to lead large groups and be a primary facilitator+ Demonstrated written skills+ Comfortable working in a project based / client serving model+ Ability to lead and shape client expectations+ Help drive pursuits and engage in complex deals, matching outcomes to expectations+ Ability to work easily with diverse and dynamic teams+ Ability to work in a matrix management model+ Preference for candidates with Secondary language skillsRequired Technical and Professional ExpertiseYou will need the following required skills:+ Experience in information security program management, preferably in the areas of penetration testing, vulnerability management and/or incident response.+ Ability to manage complex security projects with various stakeholders and resources.+ History of presenting to executives.+ Effective English writing skills.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Experience in technical scoping of security testing programs and projects.+ CISSP, OSCP, or other technical certifications.+ Conversational fluency in a second language.+ Hands-on experience in security aspects of compliance standards (ISO 27001, SSAE 16, COBIT, PCI, SOX, HIPAA, GLBA, etc.).+ Experience editing documents for grammar, clarity, and technical accuracy.About Business UnitIBM is a leading provider of enterprise security solutions.
