If so, lets talk.Your Role and Responsibilities+ Strong work ethic+ Strong organizational skills+ Strategic Thinker+ Ability to resolve difference with key client stakeholders+ Prior experience with Oracle preferable+ Ability to work independently, managing contract requirements, deadlines and record keeping of volumes, both for timeliness and accuracy+ Client facing skills+ Excellent and timely communication needed+ Must be control focused and able to work with internal and external controls teams+ Prior experience with account reconciliations, journal entries and cash related functions+ Team player that can assess deadlines and step in to help other team members when needed, agility is key.+ Accounting & Finance backgroundResponsibilities+ Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information+ Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies+ Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries+ Assists with annual external audit; assists in preparing and completes assigned schedules for the annual and interim auditRequired Technical and Professional ExpertiseMust have strong Excel skills, analytical skills, client facing so great communication and presentation skills, must adhere to strict deadlines due to Contract SLA's, Reporting background. Must adhere to multiple controls, contract requirements with accuracy and timeliness.+ 5+ years of experience in General Accounting Reporting+ Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles / US GAAP+ 4+ Analytical and accounting responsibilities+ Knowledge of financial analysis; ability to prepare clear and accurate financial reports+ Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel+ Detail oriented with an ability to work independently and within reporting deadlines.+ 4 + years of experience with financial reporting responsibilities.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ R2R+ Accounting skills including Oracle, Reconciliation, Communication, Journal Entry.About Business UnitIBM Services is a team of business, strategy and technology consultants that design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of the world's economy.
