Front End Developer - Applied Fintech Research Project Hamilton: The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston is developing a hypothetical central bank digital currency with researchers from the Digital Currency Initiative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Titled Project Hamilton, this research will assist the Federal Reserve in more deeply understanding technology tradeoffs among design options, and will result in the open source publication of software to support central bank digital currencies. This position is a unique opportunity to be a part of this leading research effort between the Federal Reserve and MIT. Position Contribution: The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston is looking for a Front End Developer to support Project Hamilton. The Front End Developer will work hands-on with both MIT and Boston Fed engineering and research teams to build interactive web experiences for the project. A successful candidate will be a self-driven front end engineer with proven ability to solve difficult and novel problems. Experience working with cryptocurrency and related technologies is a benefit.
